I tested 20+ London 2012 websites.led system integration activities.quality-assured live results.

I created and implemented testing collateral for 20+ websites.

As part of the web test team, I delivered test confidence for over 20 websites in the London 2012 estate, working with third-party suppliers and management personnel to lead functional and end-to-end test execution and communicate daily reporting progress.

I led infrastructure support for London 2012 websites and apps.

During the Games I was responsible for service integration of the London 2012 digital landscape and mobile applications. This meant coordinating the resolution of infrastructure issues with all platforms integrated into the 77 digital products. I was the point of contact for all system suppliers based across the UK, Canada and Italy; each had their own working styles, complexities and requirements.

I quality-assured live results from events and venues.

I ensured that competition results from events in London and across the UK were being transferred correctly and promptly to the London 2012 results IT systems, including those used by the world’s press.

THE FIRST DIGITAL OLYMPICS.

THE FIRST DIGITAL OLYMPICS.

THE WORLD WAS WATCHING.

London2012.com reached a global audience 24/7, so it was critical the infrastructure could support the bandwidth.

MOBILE USAGE LED THE WAY.

Over 60% of London 2012 traffic came from mobile and tablet devices and 15m people downloaded the official Games apps.

HARNESSING REAL-TIME ANALYTICS.

Using tools including Chartbeat and Google Analytics I saw incredible statistics; these were used to drive reporting and marketing.
