“Helping businesses thrive”

During my IT career I’ve worked in a myriad of testing roles, including as a manual test analyst, automation test engineer, defect manager, test lead, Scrum master and test manager to name a few.

So in 2021 I decided to set up Vantage Testing, a new specialist IT software testing practice, offering my years of experience and expertise to help businesses of all shapes and sizes deliver quality assurance and testing success.

I’ve been designing and developing websites and web apps commercially since 2010 (and as a hobby since 2006).

My approach to creating a great website and app:

  1. Get the planning right
I help understand clients’ content requirements, design ideas and web hosting needs before writing any code; these are some of the pivotal aspects to a successful site and app.
  2. Build iteratively and collaboratively
I create mockup (wireframe) designs and agree the frameworks and software I will use to build the website or app, then work collaboratively with clients during development, communicating progress to reduce re-work.
  3. Sign off and support
I put the final touches to the website or app, ensure the client is 100% satisfied with the finished product, and offer onward training and support as needed.
