Project Description
QA leader on two concurrent programmes.
QA leader on two concurrent programmes.

I was the go-to contact for the programmes’ testing activities.
I delivered the QA and testing elements of both programme plans right down to an individual task level, including code reviews, requirement risk assessments and Test representation at TDAs.
I managed onshore and offshore test teams.
I delegated workload to, and was ultimately accountable for, Experian’s onshore test team in the ID & Fraud portfolio and the third party supplier’s offshore test team on the MID Enhancements programme.
I was responsible for all project quality reporting.
I created QA status reports, quality gate reporting and test-exit reporting for senior programme personnel including delivery managers, project managers, the Head of Testing and the CIO.

Joe took full ownership of the QA function, quickly building working relationships within the team whilst also demonstrating leadership qualities which resulted in him rapidly becoming a trusted expert on the project.
Joe made it his business to get up to speed quickly on the work we were doing and our product set, proactively seeking information and resources to help him.
Joe led the QA activities on his own with very little support from me, and seems to have built relationship both internally and externally with relative ease.
In his time at Experian, Joe became an invaluable asset to the team in no time at all. He grasped the detail of complex proprietary systems very quickly, which enabled him to add value almost instantly.

ID & FRAUD PROTECTION
I led the quality assurance and testing activities for several small-change projects in Experian’s Identity and Fraud Protection portfolio, home to a number of identity verification and fraud prevention services including Bank Wizard for payment validation, National Hunter for fraud checking and the GOV.UK Verify system.
MID ENHANCEMENTS
I worked on significant front-end and back-end enhancements to the Motor Insurance Database. Used primarily by the Police, DVLA and motor insurers, the MID holds details on all UK insured drivers and covers approximately 30 million active motor insurance policies for all types of domestic and commercial vehicles.
